Attention Vintage Vinyl Collectors - Bonanza is the Place

Once in awhile I enjoy spending an evening browsing through my record collection and listening to some of my old favorites. Nat King Cole still gives me the shivers and Perry Como... ah that voice!  I also like 50's Rock and Roll and anything I can dance to.  I took a look on Bonanza the other day to see what's out there for record collectors.  Here's what I found ...

Searching "Vintage Vinyl" I came up with 257 hits and found lots of goodies at jammatun's booth "Tranquility Base Design"  There's 45's and LPs of folk, rock and vintage comedy - a good solid eclectic mix. Here's what jammatun has to say "We have antiques and collectibles including a nice selection of vintage postcards and a large variety of vintage vinyl. The vinyl records include 78’s, 45’s, and 33 1/3’s from all genres. We attend Estate Sales every week and are never sure what rare and vintage items we will find!"

I also searched "Records" and found one of my favorites "The Ronettes " Walkin' in the Rain " at Stan's Collectibles  This booth has lots of LP sets and early 50's music. No wonder there's such a good selection.  According to the profile the booth owner  has "owned several successful Records on Wheels franchises for 15 years in Etobicoke, Mississauga, Toronto and Streetsville,Ontario Canada."

Now on to "45s" and I found not only stickers and  tshirts but  "Haney's Hobbies" where Jukebox 45's rule ! Yes, that's Elvis, Sinatra and the Kingston Trio on 45 ready for your record player. The owner says " I'm the quiet type." I guess they let their music selection do all the talking.

The record selection on Bonanza is changing all the time as new stock gets added daily.  It's worth checking out if you're a collector or just someone who likes to listen to music the old fashioned way :)

How Do You Like Your Sales?

How do you like your sales ? Do you prefer a percentage off?  or markdowns?  clearance sales on overstock or special prices on popular items?  I've been giving this a lot of thought since we're in the middle of our annual Summer Sale in our Bonanza Booth.

When I'm bargain hunting I type the word sale into the Bonanza search box and come up with listings that have the word "sale" in the title.  This listing caught my eye  *SALE*Blue Funky Retro Cleo Floral BAG Purse-Tote I found myself browsing through the hand made cotton bags at blackcatscents booth.   Each one is unique and made with retro look fabrics. (and you know I love retro)

I also like free shipping so off I go to search for that and come up with  Pink and Red Flower Handbag w/Swarovski FREE Shipping! The colors are so vivid on this purse and I like the 60's vibe.   jsquareddesigns has a selection of bags - each comes with a Swarovski Crystal Tag and they all have free shipping.

To find out more about what shoppers and merchants think about sales versus free shipping  I'm posting this question on the Bonanza Forum.  Discounts or Free Shipping ? Buyers and Sellers which do you prefer? Check out the answers and post your thoughts.
